About the Programme

This module discusses the Shariah review planning and programme related to the IFIs based on scope, plan, and procedures involved. The module also highlights on the planning and programme applicable in the Islamic banking, Takaful and Islamic capital market.​

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the module, learners should be able to:

  • Describe how to do the Shariah Review Planning in a structured manner.
  • Determine the scope and coverage for Shariah Review exercise including the procedures to be taken by the Shariah Review personnel.
  • Identify key areas or focus for Shariah Review exercise and develop the Shariah Review checklist.
