About the Programme

This module discusses the Shariah audit fieldwork and communications related to the IFIs. It describes the methods and principles in performing Shariah audit fieldwork. The module also emphasises on writing of the audit report to effectively communicate the audit findings to the management and Board.

At the end of the module, learners should be able to:

• Apply the technical processes (Shariah review, Shariah risk and Shariah audit) for banking and financial institutions to ensure Shariah compliance; and
• Defend the Shariah audit findings effectively to the stakeholders.
