About the Programme

This module is aimed at providing the learners with fundamental knowledge on Usul Fiqh and its application in the context of classical issue vis- à-vis the Islamic Financial Institutions.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the module, learners should be able to:

• Understand the Key Principles of Fiqh and Usul Fiqh.
• Appraise the relevance and applicability of Usul Fiqh principles in Islamic Finance which include banking, takaful and other industries.
• Develop awareness on the decision-making process by Shariah Committee.
• Practice deeper critical thinking and Shariah Reasoning.
